Critical Care Unit

We plan to double capacity at our Critical Care Unit so that we can treat more of our most vulnerable patients who require specialist care.

We’re increasing bedside space for greater comfort and privacy, creating ensuite family accommodation and installing state-of-the-art entertainment and communication systems.

We’ll also provide the latest medical equipment, along with one of the most sophisticated IT systems anywhere which will inform research into critical care worldwide. When it opens it will be Europe's most advanced specialist Critical Care Unit.
