Combined Insurance
Combined Insurance takes charity work seriously, and is dedicated to supporting worthwhile causes and making our communities better places to live and work.
The firm selected The Royal Marsden Cancer Campaign as its company charity for August 2008 to August 2009. For that year, all staff fundraising activities are for the benefit of The Royal Marsden Cancer Campaign.
Fundraising activities
- Christmas raffle and silent auctions
- The Great South Run in October 2008
- Donating 84 magazines and over 100 children’s books for the waiting room at The Royal Marsden Hospital
- Volunteering work
- One employee, Dan Down, is training for the London-to-Paris bike ride in July (and has already raised a significant amount).
Amazing effort
As of May 2009, Combined Insurance employees have raised the fantastic amount of £5,791.22 and will continue their fundraising efforts for this worthwhile cause until August. The company has agreed to match the total amount raised!
