Christmas fair and concert
King’s House School Junior Department in Richmond held a Christmas Fair to raise funds for the children’s unit at Sutton. They collected £4,343 at the event.
Christmas festivities
There were many stalls for families to enjoy. As usual, Santa’s Grotto was very popular and there was a very successful bottle tombola. Everyone loved the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory chocolate stall.
It was a real team effort. Pupils from the school donated toys, books and video games which they no longer used. Staff manned the stalls and gave parents a glass of fizz or mulled wine to accompany an amazing range of home-made cakes.
Carol concert
The pupils also performed a Christmas Concert at their local church, raising even more through the generous donations of parents.
Mrs Sally Bruce, Head and a current Royal Marsden patient, was thrilled with the support and generosity of everyone who attended.
