The aims of this site
We aim to provide easy to understand information on the work of The Royal Marsden hospital and general patient information on cancer and its treatments.
Our information on cancer care is meant to provide a basic, reliable guide. More detailed information is available should you wish to find out more. The website is not meant to take the place of professional medical advice. Every cancer patient's experience is unique and the information contained within this site at a general audience.
If you have been diagnosed with cancer, please talk to the doctors and nurses who are caring for you about your diagnosis and treatment. If you have not been diagnosed with cancer, but are worried about your health, please consult your GP so that they can arrange appropriate tests.

Who is responsible for this site?

The content was created by staff from around the Trust and is managed by a dedicated Web Editor. The site was launched in March 2006. Prior to launch, the content was made available to RMH staff for final checking and amendment.
Review policy
We aim to review individual pages at least once every six months. Many pages will be reviewed more frequently to make sure they reflect the latest developments within the Trust.
