Equality impact assessments
We look at the impact that our policies, services and processes have on people from different social groups in order to eliminate discrimination and promote equality of employment and service opportunity. This process is called an equality impact assessment (EIA).
Our process has two stages: an equality checklist or screening stage and a full assessment stage. All the different diversity strands are covered under our equality impact assessment (EIA) process.
The findings from the equality checklists and full assessments are reported internally and externally and are monitored by the Equality and Diversity Committee and Operational Group.
Summaries of these findings are available to download here. For full versions please contact us by emailing
