Five Year Business Strategy
Our strategic objective is to develop The Royal Marsden as the UK’s foremost centre of excellence in cancer care through growth, innovation and excellence.
We aim to:
- Demonstrate success as an NHS Foundation Trust through innovation and growth
- Develop a more outward facing focus to underpin successful delivery of the Business Strategy
- Deliver services to more patients, better, faster and tailored to individual needs
- Enhance leadership in service, research and education
- Create opportunities for extending The Royal Marsden’s role in specialist screening, diagnosis and early treatment in response to the Cancer Genome Project and technological advance
- Undertake a fundamental review of the design and delivery of clinical services to improve efficiency
- Develop benchmarking capability and the evidence to demonstrate a difference.
