Download the plans for the proposed Translational Research Centre below.
As part of its modernisation and improvement plans The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust is making a planning application for a new building at its Sutton site: the Translational Research Centre (TRC).
Purpose of the TRC
The Trust works very closely with The Institute of Cancer Research (located next to The Royal Marsden in Sutton) to develop and apply new research as treatments. Getting such treatments to its patients in as short a period of time as possible helps it to improve the services it offers.
The TRC is designed to facilitate this and will be located in the centre of the Sutton site, behind the main hospital building. It will bring together a number of existing research groups in a state-of-the-art, purpose-built environment.
