in the blaze.

There he met Chief Nurse Shelley Dolan who introduced him to four members of staff who played a vital role in the evacuation of patients and their care in the immediate aftermath.

He chatted with Steve Scholtes, Senior Nurse Manager of Burdett Coutts, Andrew Dimech, Clinical Nurse Specialist, Critical Care Unit (CCU), who helped to set up CCU beds at an alternative site post-fire and Dr Orla Lacey, Consultant Anaesthetist, who was in theatre at the time of the fire.
