Manchester Marathon and Half Marathon
Known as a friendly and well-organised race with fantastic course support, the Manchester Half Marathon is set to become the fastest in the UK while the Manchester Marathon claims to be the UK’s 'flattest, fastest and friendliest marathon'. That's the Manchester magic!
If it's speed you are after then these races are both fast and flat. But they are also known for overwhelming friendliness, with cheerful supporters from around Manchester, and plenty of local entertainment to keep you moving all the way.
We have a limited number of charity places in both events.
What to expect
The Manchester Half Marathon
With 74% of the first 50 runners recording a personal best, it is no wonder that the race is set to become the fastest in the UK. Do you fancy making your personal best while raising money for The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity? This is a fantastic way to challenge yourself and run for a great cause.

The Manchester Marathon
Please note, the 2024 Marathon event is sold out, so the details below are regarding the 2025 event! Make sure to register your interest and we will be in touch as soon as you can sign up to be part of Team Marsden in 2025.
Why not try to set your personal best in Manchester? The course boasts a super swift course, fun entertainment, amazing crowd support and a grand finish at Manchester United FC, plus a medal and ASICS technical t-shirt for all who pass the finish line.
