This multi-award winning race is the UK’s only international half marathon from the Roman/Medieval City of Chester. The fast and predominantly flat route covers 13 miles of closed roads in England and Wales.
The Chester Half Marathon offers one of the flattest routes in many years, running past some of Chester's iconic historical landmarks and with a spectacular city centre finish. Strong support from the villages and communities along the course is one of the many highlights of the race.
Finishing in the City Centre provides an inspiring setting with cheering crowds of welcoming spectators!
