Community support from pubs

Pubs are vital centres of the community, and publicans and regulars are often keen to hold fundraising events for their favourite charities. The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity is seeking your support for the rewarding work currently taking place through research, advances in treatment and exceptional care.

Lots of pubs have been getting involved already with events such as quiz nights and BBQs. We would love to hear from you about a fundraising event that you want to organise. To register your pub, get in touch and ask for a fundraising pack to help inspire staff and regular customers to accept a challenge.

However you choose to fundraise, we are here to offer friendly advice and support, together with fundraising materials for your event, such as:

  • collection tins and buckets
  • posters
  • sponsor forms
  • banners
  • balloons
  • t-shirts.

Get your pub involved

An independent survey commissioned for CAMRA and Pub Aid in 2013 found that 32% of young adults aged 18-24 said they would use their local more regularly if more events supported charities.

“It’s a wonderful place. You walk through those doors and you feel everybody has got hope. They are all so cheerful and positive.”
