The key aim is to allow nurses, allied health professionals and pharmacists the opportunity to undertake up to 12 months full-time or 24 months part-time study to develop their research skills, CV and portfolio, and to produce the necessary data to springboard onto a National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) Clinical Research Fellowship application or other appropriate routes.
Applicants are asked to identify an important research question that is aligned with the research and innovation ambitions within "Outstanding Together" (in The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust Nursing, AHP and Pharmacy Strategy 2020-2024 and The Royal Marsden and Institute of Cancer Research Strategy 2016-2021). The research will make an impact on patient care within the Trust, surrounding communities, and the wider NHS.
