A spokesperson for The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity said "Everyone at The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity is deeply saddened by the passing of Her Majesty The Queen.

"Her Majesty, who has been Patron of The Royal Marsden since 1952, has visited both the Chelsea and Sutton hospital sites to meet staff and patients and has been a wonderful supporter of the hospital over the years. The Queen has led the country and the Commonwealth with dignity, compassion and strength for the last 70 years and we would like to express our sincere condolences to The Royal Marden's President HRH The Prince of Wales and the Royal Family. The thoughts of all our staff are with them at this difficult time.”

There are books of condolence at the chapels at both of our hospital sites in Chelsea and Sutton for those who wish to leave messages, and an online version which can be accessed here: The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust Online Book of Condolence for Her Majesty The Queen.
