We’re The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity.
We raise money to support world-leading experts at The Royal Marsden, saving the lives of people with cancer, everywhere.

Today, in the UK, someone is diagnosed with cancer every two minutes
That’s more than 1,000 people, every day, hearing the devastating news they have cancer. We believe that through funding the life-saving research and world-leading treatment and care at The Royal Marsden, we can save the lives of people with cancer everywhere. With one in two of us likely to receive a diagnosis in our lifetime, cancer touches every family, every generation, every community, which means we need cancer research breakthroughs more than ever before.

We are a charity driven by our values of respect, kindness, ambition, and versatility and purposefulness, and these values shape everything we do. We believe that by building genuine, lasting relationships with our supporters, together we'll fund more cancer research breakthroughs that will save lives everywhere.
Every day you and others like you make a huge difference by supporting our work. When you support us, we make a promise to you.

When you donate to us, you're directly supporting specialists making breakthroughs in cancer treatment and care.
We work directly with clinicians, researchers, doctors and nurses at The Royal Marsden to ensure that donations are directed where they are needed most. Founded as the first-ever hospital to study and treat cancer, The Royal Marsden continues to make breakthroughs happen. Together with its academic research partner the Institute of Cancer Research, London (ICR), is one of the leading comprehensive cancer centres in the world. Every donation takes us a step closer to another life-saving breakthrough.

A history of charitable support at The Royal Marsden
