Walking raises thousands for our vital research

Following treatment for lung cancer in 2012, Iain Denham walked the 100 mile South Downs Way, raising over £8,000 for The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity and Neurosciences Research Foundation.

After further treatment at The Royal Marsden, and losing close friends to cancer, he completed the trek again, in the opposite direction, raising a further £3,000 for the two charities.

Funds for research remain crucial to develop new and more effective treatments which is why I decided to make this trek again.
