Join Team Marsden for our first year at the iconic Swim Serpentine, and take on a Half Mile or One Mile swim across Hyde Park's iconic lake.

This iconic open-water swimming event laps the Serpentine lake - the same venue used for the London 2012 Olympics. With a vibrant atmosphere and stunning scenery, both the Half Mile and One Mile options are not challenges to miss out on!
Swim Serpentine takes place in Hyde Park in London, on the beautiful Serpentine lake. All participants swim clockwise around the lake, with routes marked by inflatable buoys.
We offer two distance options:
The registration fee is £10 and we ask each participant to reach a minimum fundraising target of £250. Simply choose a distance and register online.
We will be there on the day to cheer you on and support you as you take on this incredible challenge. It isn't one you'll want to miss!

Your registration includes:

Mike took part in Swim Serpentine 2025 for The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity after he was treated at the hospital for prostate cancer.
'The facilities were amazing and the staff were so good, so caring, and so patient. I just wanted to be able to give something back.'
'The morning of the swim I was very nervous, but when I got to Hyde Park, the nerves were dissipated by the enthusiasm of all the other competitors; there were thousands of people taking part of all different standards and different reasons for doing the challenge. I had never managed to swim that distance before, and the support made me get to the finish line!'
'The joy and pride I felt after completing the swim was the greatest I have felt. I'm still smiling from the achievement.'
Inspired by Mike's experience? Join Team Marsden today for the Half Mile Swim or the One Mile Swim!
