Grace was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2020 and received chemotherapy and surgery at The Royal Marsden. Thankfully, she was given the all clear in 2021. 

She joined the TRAK-ER trial in 2023, which is determining if blood tests can detect relapse in breast cancer patients who have had surgery, sooner than a scan. Thanks to the trial, when Grace’s cancer returned, this was picked up quickly and she was able to start targeted therapy treatment immediately.
