The Banham Marsden March – how we work together
Security company Banham is the title sponsor of the Charity’s flagship event, The Banham Marsden March, which sees thousands of walkers take on the five or 15-mile route between our Chelsea and Sutton sites. There is also a version of this event called The Banham Marsden March at Home, which allows supporters to walk the same distances from wherever they choose.
Thousands of people join us for The Banham Marsden March every year, with patients, families, supporters of the hospital and Royal Marsden staff all taking part and fundraising. Banham’s support has been vital in helping us make the event such a great success.

Having celebrated the 10th anniversary of our partnership in 2025, we were delighted to announce in June 2025 that Banham will be continuing as Title Sponsor for The Banham Marsden March and The Banham Marsden March at Home for the next five years.
Support from Team Banham
Since 2015, over 700 members of Team Banham have taken part in the event and raised an amazing team total of over £200,000! Banham staff, along with their friends and family, have proudly walked with us every year as ‘Team Banham’.

Did you know?
The Banham Marsden March at Home 2021 was our fully virtual event which took place during the pandemic. This event raised an incredible amount of money for the Oak Cancer Centre appeal. We are so grateful to Banham and all our participants for helping us to make the Oak Cancer Centre a reality as a world-leading facility.
