A way to say thank you
Jo joined Team Marsden in 2024, as a way to say thank you for the care she receives on the charity funded TRAK-ER clinical trial at The Royal Marsden.
'For me, being involved with the hospital as a patient first-hand, really inspired me to want to get involved and give something back. Marathon day was surreal, it felt like a big party! The streets were lined thick from the beginning to the end with supporters cheering on all the runners. It is by far my most favourite marathon. I would definitely recommend taking on the London Marathon, I absolutely loved it and would do it again in a heartbeat!'
Thanks to people like Jo, we can continue to be there for people who need us.
