Charity hub volunteers at Chelsea and Sutton
The volunteering role
We are looking for volunteers to work in our charity hubs at both The Royal Marsden's Sutton and Chelsea sites in London.
Visitors to The Royal Marsden will be able to approach the charity hubs to find out more about The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity, make donations and buy merchandise.
What you will do:
You will be an ambassador for The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity, carrying out tasks such as:
- answering questions about the Charity from people visiting the hospital
- taking donations
- selling merchandise
- liaising with the Charity team to stay up-to-date on Charity information and activities
- referring members of the public to the relevant Charity staff as and when
Who we're looking for
We need people who are:
- friendly and happy to chat to members of the public
- able to work well as part of a team
- committed and reliable
- passionate about making a difference to cancer patients
Working hours
- 0.5 days per week
- Between Monday and Friday, 09:00 – 17:00
We would prefer it if you are able to volunteer with us for a minimum of three to six months.
