The volunteering role
Join our Community Fundraising Volunteer team to help make a difference to people affected by cancer. We are looking for volunteers to support us in picking up and replacing collection tins in the local area.
What you will do:
You will be an ambassador for The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity, carrying out tasks such as:
- picking up and replacing collection tins from local shops, restaurants, pubs, and community venues
- returning tins to The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity office in Sutton and ensuring that the correct paperwork is completed
Who we're looking for
We need people who:
- are trustworthy, enthusiastic and self-motivated
- work well as part of a team
- are willing to travel in and around the local area
- hold a full UK driving licence
- are passionate about making a difference to cancer patients
Working hours
- This can suit you, but must be within Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 17:00
- We would prefer it if you are able to volunteer with us for a minimum of three to six months.
Where you will be working
Various locations, but you will be reporting back to our Sutton office.
