By donating your time, you’ll help us to support life-saving work at The Royal Marsden for people living with cancer.
The Charity hub sells over 1,200 items a year.
Thanks to our volunteers, we're raising awareness of the work we support at The Royal Marsden for patients at the hospital and beyond.
About your role
You’ll help us to run the Charity hubs in Sutton and Chelsea, selling our products, taking donations and chatting to our supporters. You'll need to:
- Be an ambassador for The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity
- Answer questions from supporters and people visiting the hospital
- Take donations
- Sell Charity products
- Work with our Community Fundraising team to stay updated on our latest events and activities
- Refer supporters to relevant Charity staff
Your location
We’re based across the Sutton and Chelsea hospitals. Please select which location you’d prefer in your application.
Your time commitment
Please give half a day (four hours) each week for a minimum of three months.
Our working hours run between 9am-5pm on Mondays-Fridays.

Next steps
If your application is successful, you will be invited to an informal interview (either at the Sutton office or online via Microsoft Teams or Zoom). The interview will take place with a member of the Community Fundraising team.
As part of the application process, you will need to confirm your right to volunteer in the UK.
We will also need to carry out two reference checks and a DBS clearance.
