Donate today and help fund life-saving cancer research for patients everywhere.

You could help our researchers develop new, life-saving treatments for use across the UK and around the world.   With one in two of us likely to receive a cancer diagnosis in our lifetime, cancer touches every family, every generation, and every community, which means we need cancer research breakthroughs more than ever before. Please donate today and help develop new, more effective treatments for people with cancer everywhere.

“What The Royal Marsden have done for me is just incredible - their research is helping people like me, all around the world.”

Patient at The Royal Marsden

Zoe's story

In May 2023 47-year-old Zoe was diagnosed with Stage 4 melanoma, a diagnosis that can often mean only months to live, after previously being treated for skin cancer in her neck.

“It all started in October 2020 when I found something on my neck” says Zoe. “A biopsy showed I had melanoma in my neck and upper arm. In May 2023 another lump appeared, and I was told I had stage 4 melanoma.”

After being referred to The Royal Marsden in July 2023, Zoe joined a ground-breaking trial, supported by the Charity, under the care of Dr Furness. When Zoe first joined the trial, she had advanced melanoma and just six weeks into treatment, her cancer had completely disappeared.

“Donating to The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity to fund research is so important. It’s saved my life and is enabling me to continue making memories with my family.”
