Heading from the city to the sea, this scenic 55 mile route takes you from the heart of London to a picture-perfect finish on the coast. This iconic route is one for cycling enthusiasts and first time riders alike.

Fiona took part in the London to Brighton Cycle Ride in memory of her husband Michael, and as a way to say thank you to The Royal Marsden for looking after him.
"I wanted to do the ride for the Royal Marsden because both the Sutton and Chelsea hospitals took such good care of my husband. The care and kindness he was shown was incredible.
I enjoyed the ride. Everything was well managed and I had all the information I needed. I also managed to avoid the rain!! The atmosphere was nice and although I chose to do it on my own I had the opportunity to chat to other riders."
