Thames Path Challenge

This popular riverside challenges sees more than 3000 participants taking on the Thames Path which follows England's greatest river from Putney Bridge to Henley, taking in historic landmarks such as Hampton Court and Runnymede where the Magna Carta was signed.

You choose

However you take it on, the trek will test your stamina. But don't worry - you'll be supported all the way, and the beautiful views, the fantastic camaraderie and finally getting over that finishing line to your medal, and a glass of bubbly will never match the amazing sense of achievement.

The challenges are brilliantly supported with hot food, snacks and drinks, rest stops, medics and masseurs. There's also a handy shuttle bus to local stations and halfway points.

Full Challenge - 100km

Even for the longest of the Thames Path challenges there are choices to be made. Choose whether to do it as an individual or as part of a team. Choose whether to do Putney Bridge to Henley as a 24+ hr walk day and night (33 hr maximum) or the two day option: 50 km on Saturday and 50 km on Sunday. And you can choose the speed - you can run, walk or jog the route!

Half Challenge -  50km

Whether you do it as an individual or as part of a team, for the Half Challenge you get to choose between two different 50 km options. Plus you can choose the speed you tackle the challenge: you can run, walk or jog the route.

Fundraising Target: £395

Quarter Challenge - 25km

With this challenge you choose which of the four 'quarter' options to walk. As with the other challenges you can also choose the speed - you can run, walk or jog the route.

Fundraising Target: £250
