Why Team Marsden?

Tony decided to run the London 10k 2025 in support of his wife and close friends receiving cancer treatment at The Royal Marsden.

"I was so impressed with the whole atmosphere of the hospital and the staff there. The staff were very caring and always made time for my wife and to explain what they were doing and to reassure us. The hospital felt like a very calm, caring place.

I had always fancied the idea of running the London Marathon but never had the legs. So when we discovered the London 10K I thought it would be a great opportunity to raise money for the Marsden, running on the streets of London with my daughter.

The day itself was virtually perfect. The music stations around the course created a great atmosphere and the crowds were really loud, positive and encouraging!"

Thanks to supporters like Tony, we continue to be there for everyone who needs us!
