Join us for this flat and fast 10K and discover Fulham - from Stamford Bridge to Parsons Green - while raising vital funds for The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity.
Race around Stamford Bridge, Parsons Green and the straight sprints of Fulham Road! By taking on this unique challenge, you'll be supporting the vital work of The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity in cancer care, treatment, and research worldwide.
• Registration is £10 per person and we ask each participant to reach a minimum fundraising target of £200.
• Once you’ve signed up, you’ll receive one to one support from a dedicated member of the charity team to help you with your fundraising efforts and to answer any questions you may have as you prepare for the big day.
• When you register, you will also be able to join our Team Marsden Runners Facebook group. Our fun, friendly and supportive online community will be there to support you all the way, share top tips and advice and keep you motivated in the run up to the event.
• You'll also have a Team Marsden cheer squad there on the day to encourage you over that finish line!
This is the perfect race for anyone new to running or runners looking to get a personal best! Check out your route below:
1. Start at Eel Brook Common before getting onto Fulham Road for the first time to run around Stamford Bridge.
2. Head back onto Fulham Road to go toward Dawes Road and onto Munster Road.
3. Run onto Fulham Road to turn towards Parsons Green.
4. Take a loop back up Munster Road through to Fulham Park Gardens.
5. Finish with a straight run down New Kings Road, back to Eel Brook Common.
Your registration includes:
• Your race bib and welcome pack sent prior to the day, including your very own Royal Marsden Cancer Charity running vest.
• Fundraising support and advice from a dedicated member of staff at The Royal Marsden and access to our supportive Team Marsden runners Facebook group.
• The loudest charity cheer points on the route to keep you motivated as you tackle the course.
• A post-run massage and a well-deserved medal to celebrate your achievement when you cross the finish line.
• Snacks and drinks at The Royal Marsden tent in the event village.
Nick took on the Fulham 10K in the memory of his friend Pete who was treated at The Royal Marsden.
"When I saw that The Royal Marsden was the charity partner of the Fulham 10k, I felt inspired to sign up. I was really excited to share this with Pete, and he was full of support and liked the idea of raising some money together. Running this race was my way of honouring him - and everything the Marsden did for him too.
Whilst on course the energy felt unreal. The Marsden cheer squad lit up the route - proper goosebumps stuff. Hearing your name is like a turbocharger!
You’re not just running… you’re doing something genuinely meaningful. It’s a very rewarding experience."
